Four year old female Goffin Cockatoo. Very sweet girl who loves to be close to her people Has always loved everyone Loves flapping her wings and playing in warm shallow water Talks Has lived with a two big dogs and is fine with them as long as they dont get into her personal space - she has been known to bite their nose (never done damage but has given a warning bite that they need to back up) if they get in her bubble Loves sunshine and watching out windows Not a parrot who screams on a regular basis but can/will scream on occasion Does not bite on a regular basis but can and will bite if the need arises She does pluck her feathers and started this when my mother became ill and unable to give her the attention/care that she has always been used to getting. I believe in time that her feathers will grow back in on her body because little pin feathers do come in but she unfortunately does pull them as soon as she can. This sweet girl is NOT in need of rescuing (to all rescues, thank you for what you do, but we would prefer to place her directly into a home/family.and we will be extremely picky about who she goes to. She deserves nothing but the best. Has never been bred but has laid a couple eggs in the past. Please contact me for more details.
