HELLO! I have a unique event venue in Deep Ellum where we have birthday parties, weddings, etc. Looking for a regular long-term helper to do setup/cleanup and general event help. Duties include keep the venue clean during and after events, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the bathrooms, doing the trash, breaking down tables, and other random tasks. NOTE: there is some heavy lifting. The most is being able to lift a heavy trash can over your head. Must be a bit agile as well. Important!!!..PLEASE READ. Most events are on Friday and Saturday evenings with some Thursdays, Sundays as well as some Saturday afternoons. Each week varies. Some weeks, we have only 1-2 events, some we may have 4-5 events...just varies. Average is 1-3 per week, and you work with another cleaning guy as well. Time frame of the events is usually 4-5 hours, with 1-4 hours of cleaning afterward, depending on how dirty the venue is, but usually about 1-2 ish hours after the event is over. Time of the day varies, usually evenings on Thurs-Sun. Latest parties end at 2am with cleaning after that. Most parties end anywhere between 10pm and 2am. Day parties are usually noon to 4pm with cleaning after that, but also can vary. IF YOU CANNOT WORKS THESE HOURS ON A REGULAR WEEK-IN/WEEK-OUT BASIS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN WEEKLY WORK THESE HOURS. Must speak at least decent English. Doesn't have to be perfect, but be able to communicate. Job will require a little heavy lifting (trash and moving stacks of chairs and putting out the red carpet). Pay is done by direct deposit at the end of each weekend.
