Hi, we are looking for a Heating Oil Tank locator. If you have the required experience (decommissioning heating oil tanks) then this could be for you. An underground storage tank (UST) locator would perform largely oil tank scans looking for large buried metallic objects. The reason you need to have experience decom'ing HOTs is that you need to know what you're looking for while doing tank searches. The work involves some computer work, a fair amount of driving, working outdoors in all weather, interacting with clients, and going into crawlspaces. We do need a clean driving record, and experience decommissioning oil tank is a must-have. We would prefer someone to work this job full time but we can be flexible if needed. M-F only, work starts around 7 and usually goes to 3 or 4. There is a lot of training before you can go out on your own, and there is a lot to learn, and we will want to train you on other things and expand your skill set. But the more you learn the more we will pay you, so you got that going for you. We are also looking for someone with experience doing sewer scopes for another underground locating position.
