MOAPIA, in partnership with DOH, will provide free COVID-19 vaccines and Pfizer booster shots to eligible residents. The DC Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA) will be partnering with the DC Health (DOH) to administer and provide vaccines to DC residents at Iglesia Ni Cristo Church on Saturday, October 30 from 10 AM to 2 PM. No appointment is needed. To receive a Pfizer booster shot, please bring proof of previous vaccination. MOAPIA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for District Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through advocacy and engagement. MOAPIA advises the Mayor, the Council, and District agencies on the views, needs, and concerns of the AAPI community. MOAPIA provides recommendations on District programs and initiatives affecting the AAPI community, and helps coordinate programs and initiatives within the government that promote the overall welfare of the AAPI community.
