Come share a beer with us at Seventh Son to support our 3rd annual #NewsMatch fundraiser! Come share a beer and enjoy a live DJ with us at Seventh Son as we kick off our 3rd annual #NewsMatch fundraiser supporting Matter News, Columbus' only women and LGBTQ+ founded news nonprofit! Stop by the upstairs bar anytime from 5 to 9 p.m. and have a drink with your local policing and development reporters, as well as our board of directors. $1 of each beer sale at Seventh Son goes towards our #NewsMatch fundraiser goal of $45,000! (Make sure to let the bartender know you're with us 🍻). Our raffle will be announced in the coming week, so be on the lookout for some awesome (and local) prizes! As local news continues to shrink in the region, Grey Matter Media has continued to foster conversation in the community around what's working and what's not in our local news ecosystem, while the reporters and editors at Matter News have worked hard to try and fill information gaps experienced by our community.
