On Thursday, November 11 at 7pm, in the Mackay Room, come sit and check out our “open books” in an informal one-on-one discussion style. Check out Ana (Mental Health Educator), Bianca (Rheumatoid Arthritis), Buck (Military/Navy), Eric (LGBTQ Member), Jessi (Former Teen Mom), Joe Dell (Local Musician), Joe Magia (Raised in Vietnam), Joshira (Aerialist), & Vanessa (Bi-Polar Disorder). The Human Library is very much like a regular library where people go to check out books. The only difference is that the books are all human volunteers who have opted to speak about their experiences openly to an interested audience and answer any questions they are asked. It aims to address people's prejudices by helping them to talk to those they would not normally meet.
