Tour the Heurich House Museum! Tour the Heurich House Museum with our Education Manager, experience the Victorian-era spaces, and learn more about what we've been up to - including a project that explores the lives of household staff. After checking out the historic house, you can grab a historically accurate Senate Beer at 1921!Masks & Proof of Vaccination Required. (Card or image of card w/ photo ID. View vaccination policy below.)Requested donation of $10 per person. Advanced registration required for entry.Large purses, backpacks and other totes are not permitted, but may be stored in the coatroom.No children under 10 years of age.Tour lasts approximately 1 hourCheck in at Heurich House Museum Carriage House (Enter through front garden gate at 1307 New Hampshire Avenue NW).Tours leave at the exact start time. If you arrive after the tour’s start time, you will not be admitted. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The tour will conclude at our garden bar, 1921, which closes 8pm on Thursdays & Fridays and 6pm on Saturdays. ACCESSIBILITY If you require special accessibility accommodations, we are happy to help. Please email us at [email protected] POLICYThe Heurich House Museum requires full vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to our indoor spaces. Exceptions will only be made for children under 12 and those with qualifying medical conditions preventing them from being vaccinated. Please note that DC law still requires all visitors to be masked in our museum indoor spaces.Valid forms of proof of full vaccination include a vaccination card or clear photo/photocopy of vaccination card. The name on the card must match the name on a valid photo ID. The Heurich House Museum preserves local Washington, DC history and educates the public through Christian Heurich's legacy and mansion. The mansion was built from 1892-4 by German immigrant, local brewer, and philanthropist Christian Heurich (1842-1945). Recognized as Washington, D.C.’s most successful brewer, he ran the Chr. Heurich Brewing Co. until his death at 102.  The mansion is notable for its technological innovations, original interiors, and rich archival collection of one of the most important local families.    The museum, located at 1307 New Hampshire Avenue in Dupont Circle, is open for regular public events and public tours Thursday through Saturday at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 and 2:30 p.m. Private tours and event rentals are also available.
