Mercadito Monarca & Playhouse Village continue the cultural tradition of a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration, bringing the community together in Pasadena to honor and celebrate those who have passed away. Join us for a day of free, family-friendly programs on Sunday, October 24th! See Arcade Lane transform into a beautiful Mexican Zócalo where you can hear music and see live performances featuring ballet folklorico, Aztec dance, mariachi, DJ set by La Junta and more. Families can also enjoy arts & crafts activities, tour an altars exhibit in the neighborhood, shop at our artisan market, see chalk artists at work, play fun games, and more.
