Artists looking for retail space

Are there any artists and crafts people out there that would like to have a great downtown retail store but can't afford the one to two thousand dollars to rent one? Have you looked at what's available? Either the space is small and tucked away in a basement or 2nd floor, or is 1000 square ft more than you need and way beyond your price range. I've been there myself. Hello, my name is Buddy, i'm an artist and have faced this situation many times in the past. Well I have a solution,... wow just read what I've written and it sounds like one of those hack commercials you see on late night t.v. Well it's not, it's simple and has been a part of America for a very long time... it's a co-op. You rent out one large space and then each artist or crafts person rents a smaller space within it. I have done this successfully before. I'm back home here in oregon and want to do it again. I was a property manager for over fifteen years and have all the knowledge and skills needed to make this work.
