Seeking cat whisperer

We recently brought home a young kitten (5months old) and our older cat (3 years old) is really not on board. She stalks and attacks the young one any chance she gets. We’ve tried a slow introduction, feeding on opposite sides of the door, scent swapping, room swapping, etc. yet after three months, we aren’t making any progress. We consulting with a cat behaviorist via Zoom, and they’ve suggested that our older cat may never be okay with another feline. We want to make sure we’ve exhausted all avenues before we have to rehome the younger kitten. Right now we have to swap them out of different rooms several times a day. We have four litter boxes and multiple cat posts, so we know it’s not about resources. Both are spayed females and vetted. If you know of anyone who might be able to help guide us, please let me know. We’re getting desperate.
