Description
Zero is looking for a good home. He is 10 months old (DOB 12-8-2020, he is intact still and UTD on vaccinations, and microchiped. His chip permanently has me as second contact) He needs someone who will be consistent with his training. He means well, but his energy makes it hard to focus. He is a very loveable boy who just craves attention. I have seen almost nothing wrong with him, but he has little impulse control, and can be difficult to settle. Both of which we have been working on the last few days and have already seen a difference with being consistent on what we ask of him. He has shown a little bit of resource guarding over a raw/meaty bone in the way of a small growl (he was crated with his bone and another dog walked by), but that is it. He is even good when he is eating his food.
He is good at ignoring other dogs who ignore him while walking in public and is learning his manners. He has tried to chase my chihuahua, but I feel it was more of a "I don't know my size vs a 6 pound dog" type thing, but he will chase cats (again not sure what would happen if he caught up). He has been living with a 30 pound dog, but he definitely would do best with a dog that would tell him if he is being too much.
He seems to be good with kids over 7 that are dog savvy, but might get too rough if play becomes too much without intervention. Kids under 7 I feel would just get knocked over, but this might change as training progresses.
He does need to gain about 10 pounds to get him to a better weight, and he is currently getting medicated baths to help with his skin and coat.
I can provide more info to anyone interested. Just message me.
There will be a rehoming fee. He comes with his crate, any left over food and storage bin with bowls, some toys, training collars and possibly more.
Also idk why someone flagged this post, but if you contacted me before, message again
