Saturdays at The Wren's Nest
• Historic house tours from 11 am–3 pm
• Live African and Indigenous storytelling at 1 pm
The Wren’s Nest—the historic home of Joel Chandler Harris and birthplace of the American illustrated storybook—is pleased to host live storytelling and The Wren’s Nest historic house tours every Saturday.
Weekly storytelling sessions will occur every Saturday at 1 pm, along with house tours available on the hour and half hour from 11 am–12:30 pm, preceding the live storytelling and again at 2 pm and 2:30 pm, following live storytelling.
Masks are mandatory and being vaccinated is strongly suggested. The Wren’s Nest has examined each function and service provided to ensure those operations comply with current public health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. These elements will be regularly monitored for compliance.
