Since its founding, High Aspirations (HA) has many agency certifications. This network is excellent for presenting, networking and sharing. The next High Aspirations Network meeting will be held on Dec 15, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  The High Aspirations Network offers a quarterly forum for organizations geared toward urban youth to meet, share, collaborate and grow. This initiative is founded on the desire to facilitate a stronger network of resources for African-American males. There is a significant benefit in partnering. We respect and love the work you all do. We believe our roots will be much more rich, powerful and deep if we produce shared outcomes.  What to Expect: Every time we meet, we will allow an organization to share so we can learn more about what that organization does for African American males in Kansas City.  Everyone will be able to share events, activities and announcements. We will invite area foundations to hear what is happening and allow them to share their opportunities for funding.  ~`~ Below are some of the organizations you can expect to see at High Aspiration Network meetings: Arts Tech, Boys Grow, Boys Hope Girls Hope, KPRS Hot 103 Jamzz, Kansas City Boys and Girls Choir, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Boy Scouts of America, Urban Rangers, I AM KING FOUNDATION, Community Action Agency, YMCA of Greater KC, Campfire, National Center for Fathering, Freedom School, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City, KCMO School District, Big Brothers Big Sisters, KCPD, FBI HA remains committed to best and evidence-based practices, strategies, and approaches, in order to evolve continuously through updated and enhanced programs responsive to the needs of Kansas City’s at-risk, black male youth. Outreach and collaboration, now grown to 73+ diverse, multi-sector partners, remains essential to recruitment and retention of program participants and Mentors.
