3rd annual “ Casting Lures For Cures “ with all proceeds going to benefit the National Pediatrics Cancer Foundation. 03/06/2021 . “Casting Lures For Cures “ is a bass tournament on the Kissimmee chain raising support and awareness for The National Pediatrics Cancer Foundation. In 2018 Clayton Keene II was a sixth grader at BOK academy in Lake Wales. He was asked to do a humanities school project. With his love for bass fishing and the desire to help people he decided to host “Casting Lures For Cures “ with all the proceeds going to the National Pediatrics Cancer Foundation. 2019 was the first year and it was a succes . Since then, Clayton has decided to continue annually each year to host this tournament to help fund a cure for Pediatrics Cancer with all the proceeds going to the National Pediatrics Cancer Foundation. The 3rd Annual “Casting Lures For Cures “ will be held at the Guy Harvey Camp Mack river resort on March 6, 2021 . It will be a 2 person per boat team. We will launch at safe daylight and have a 2pm weigh in. After weigh in there will be plenty of raffles , 50/50 , and fun for all . Prizes will be a guaranteed $1000 for first place team , $500 for second place , & $250 for third. There will also be an oppitional $20big bass pot with 100% payback . Post tournament weigh in and entertainment after will be free for all ages . Going to be a fun time benefiting a great cause .
