Waterway Cleanup on Paddleboards & Kayaks in Orlando In just 3 years volunteers removed over 14,800 lbs. of trash from our Florida waterways! Join us at our newest "bay" in Orlando and cleanup our waters at Lake Conway! Volunteers keep our shorelines and waterways clean by getting on the water in kayaks or stand up paddle boards and removing trash directly from the water. Masks are asked to be worn while on land and and we will maintain a safe social distance throughout the event. We will have sanitizer and wipes. Our event is naturally lower risk since it is entirely outdoors at a safe distance from others. Masks should not be worn while on the water for safety reasons. Bring your own paddleboard/kayak or use one of ours! We've got plenty of kayaks for use. A suggested donation of $25 will allow us to continue operating and expand into new areas. Each purchased ticket includes a Paddle with a Purpose t-shirt plus usage of kayaks/stand up paddleboards! If you can't donate at this time we totally understand and just ask that you help share our mission and invite as many people as possible to donate and attend! Special thanks to Lake Life Paddle for providing the kayaks and SUP's for this event! 18 year age minimum to get on the water without a parent or guardian. Parking is available but may be limited. We ask all volunteers to consider the environment and bicycle, walk or carpool to the event. Wear closed toe shoes that can get wet. Bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and a hat for sun protection. We have water but do not supply single use cups so please bring a bottle or purchase one of ours! All supplies necessary for the event will be provided including gloves, trash bags, and pickers will be provided. We will have cloth masks, reusable water bottles, t-shirts and awesome merchandise for sale!
