Local Metalcore/progressive Metal band seeking second guitarist

Local Metalcore/Progressive Metal band is seeking a second guitarist. We play all originals and are looking for someone to round out our sound. We are currently working on recording our first LP, but are willing to have additional creative input and parts written. Requirements: - Over the age of 21 (we range from 28-38 in age) - Have a driver’s license - Have reliable transportation - No hard drugs - Military friendly - Family friendly - Laid back and approachable - pet friendly (dogs and cats) - Alcohol friendly - Smoking friendly - Able to play leads and rhythm parts - Have a 7 string guitar - Have show-worthy amp and gear - Be able to write material and contribute to the band’s creative process - Be able to practice 1-2 evenings/nights a week (common practice days are Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday) - Willing to play locally 1-3 times a month - Willing to play out of town if the opportunity presents itself - Willing and able to contribute to band finances and obligations (merch, ticket sales, promotion, travel expenses) - Able to work in a studio setting - Willing to attend family/friend functions outside of practice (we are looking for a buddy/brother not a hired gun) Bonus but not required: - Ability to sing back-up vocals (dirty and/or clean) - Working/established relationships with local and out of town promoters - Prior experience playing in a band - Experience playing in a live setting - Like to eat good food! - fully vaccinated for COVID Our influences: Deftones, Periphery, Animals as Leaders, Kadinja, Meshugga, The Daliah Thundering, Hallow Front, Harvard, Glass Jaw, Nine inch Nails, As I Lay Dying, All that Remains, Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Parkway Drive, Bury Tomorrow, I’ll Nino, Breaking Benjamin, Trivium, Skidrow, The Black Daliah Murder, Diecast, The Human Abstract, Miss May I.
