Do you love pets and helping keep them happy and healthy? We are looking for someone to join our team. Bathing experience at a professional grooming salon or other related field preferred but we will train the right candidate. * Must love all kinds of breeds & sizes of dogs and treat them gently. The comfort and safety of our client’s pets is our number one priority * Traits we are looking for include: dependable, hard-working, honest, have a passion for pets, have good communication skills, impeccable work ethic, attention to details, take direction, flexibility with change, and team player, stellar time management, punctual * Have some dog handling experience privately or professionally and have no issue getting dirty/wet or cleaning up after them * Ability to remain calm to work fast and efficiently in a changeable, stressful, and fast-paced environment * Able to lift 50lbs regularly, tolerate repeated bending, and work on your feet. This is a physically demanding position * Be able to use and maintain tools of the trade nail clippers, hair trimmers, dremels, a variety of brushes, vacuums, dryers, etc * Duties include but are not limited to bathing, drying, brush out of the coat, trim and file nails, ear cleaning, gland expression, fluff dry, customer service, handling phone calls * Able to follow company's policies and procedures * Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including disinfecting, laundering towels, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and relaying maintenance needs to management Pay includes a base rate plus tips.
