title status: clean transmission: automatic type: sedan more ads by this user As much as I hate parting with her, health considerations compel me to!I acquired this rare specimen of model year 1990 Jaguar XJ-6, Vanden Plas, early 2019 from the daughter of an elderly woman from Newport Beach who passed away. The woman purchased it new in 1990 and drove it only locally. While her daughter (who lives in Palm Springs) inherited it, she did not want it, and put it up for sale. I was lucky enough to find this remarkable condition cat and did not hesitate to make her mine and effectively the 2nd owner.This gorgeous piece of Great Britain’s finest is the top of the line Vanden Plas and is finished in diamond blue metallic silver (silver with a bluish tint) with matching blue leather interior. The exterior is in excellent condition, never having been in an accident and always garage kept. The chrome bumpers and trim glisten in the sunlight and reflect perfectly as do the chrome wheels. The butter smooth English leather interior is also in excellent condition and is finished with burled wood trim and has the beautifully designed classic soft dash.Additional equipment includes power sunroof, powered seats, powered mirrors, power steering, power brakes, cruise control, air conditioning, am/fm/cassette, and not to be forgotten…front and rear fog lamps, and foldable picnic/writing tables for both of the individual rear seats…this is a British car after all!Power is from a 4.0-liter fuel-injected inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission with ability to shift manually as well, and disk brakes are on all four corners. I have put about 1500 miles on her, so now odometer reads around 135,750….roughly 4500 miles per year. Included are 2 keys, a remote key fob, a car cover, factory touch up paint, and owner’s manual. I had her inspected and always serviced at Edmunds here in Palm Desert, with an engine fan replacement, a boot trim replacement piece, a drive shaft coupler, and recent 2021 A/C recharge and oil/filter change. All systems go!!! Battery was installed 2019. I also put new tyres on her in January 2020…proper Cooper Touring tyres, with 60,000 tread wear warranty. Clean CA title in hand and recently SMOGGED. Clean CarFax!This is truly a one of a kind all original Classic JAGUAR! She is in excellent investment grade condition...an absolutely rust-free California car.
