Need rescue help for found cat

I get this is probably a long shot but does anyone have any rescue contacts? My older daughter went with her dad to the South Point boat landing in Belmont yesterday evening and she ended up bringing back a big Tom cat that's missing an eye and has a neck wound. He ran right up to her, super friendly but not sure about dogs. I seriously don't have the money to take this poor guy to the vet but she wouldn't leave him and I will try my best to find him the help he needs. I assume he got dumped but I just don't know. He needs vet help that I just can't provide but she doesn't understand yet that we can't save them all so I am doing my best to find him the help he needs. Thanks for any help. I will cross post to try my best to find him help.
