Description
We are looking to rehome our 10 month old female Texas Heeler, as she is not doing well in our town home.
She is very sweet but needs to be with someone who does not have children or other animals. She also needs a big back yard, or preferably a farm. She has not bitten anyone, but she shows jealousy towards our son. She does not do well on walks because she barks at all strangers and animals. We have tried training her. She is good and friendly when people enter the home, but barks at everyone outside. She seems to learn easily, but when it comes to strangers and animals we can't get her to calm down.
She is very smart, and would do really well as a working dog, which is why a farm would be perfect for her.
She is house trained, fixed and up to date on vaccines.
We are very sad to make this decision, but we are unable to give her the time and the space that is needed to expend her energy. Bringing her outside our development is too stressful for her due to all of our neighbors.
