TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa native McLean Moore edged out four other candidates at the ballot box this week to be named 2021 Homecoming Queen at the University of Alabama. Moore, who is a senior majoring in both finance and economics, was sponsored by Kappa Kappa Gamma. The 2021 University of Alabama Homecoming Court was selected in a student election. The University of Alabama remarked that this year represented the biggest voter turnout since 2015, with 13,180 students casting ballots. According to UA, Moore's philanthropic focus is on Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tuscaloosa, which matches youth with adult mentors.
