Press release from the Huntsville Police Department: October 22, 2021 The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged a Morgan County man with electronic solicitation of a child, transmitting obscene material to a child and traveling to meet a child for a sex act. Gregory Leo Roman, 63, was arrested by HPD Special Victims Unit (SVU) Investigators in Huntsville on Thursday, Oct. 21, for the listed charges. SVU Investigators believe the man traveled to Huntsville to meet children under the age of 14. He is also accused of sending explicit photos to children. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be brought. Anyone with information on Roman is asked to contact investigators at 256-213-4538.
