Surf Instructor - Part Time

Santa Barbara Surf School is hiring a surf instructor now; looking for a part time instructor that can go to full time for summer if desired. Must be available 3 days a week. We do begin most days early so being a morning person is a plus. We need someone responsible, organized, energetic and that has a love of surfing. Must be very energetic and attentive when giving lessons. Must have a clean driving record. Must be someone that has a minimum of 5 years of surfing experience. If you have teaching experience or think you would make an excellent surf instructor please tell us a little about yourself, why you would be a good fit, and please attach a resume. The right candidate must have the following: - Clean driving record: parking tickets are ok. - Upbeat and happy personality - Be organized - 5 years surfing experience - meaning you've surfed for at least 5 years, not necessarily teaching. - Flexible - Great people skills (WE ARE VERY SERVICE ORIENTED) - Must be active - Always on time - 3 Days available a week Pay: $17/hr plus tips. Payscale can move up with time.
