8-month old boy puppy dog needs new home

Male intact 8-month old puppy, brown with white sections. Half Dachshund smooth hair, half Tibetan Spaniel. Pictures will be sent in my response email to you. Very active, playful, and sweet, a typical puppy. Needs to be potty trained and get up to date on shots - has been dewormed and first round of shots. We are unable to care for him as we had planned. Would do wonderfully with other playful dogs (our one senior dog can't stand him). He is a happy sweet energetic rambunctious playful boy, very loving. My father is a senior citizen and was looking for a companion animal but due to his age, my father is not able to handle and train a puppy, he loves him but the puppy is not being taken care of as it should be. We picked him because he was everything you're told to look for - not overly energetic, calm tempered, etc, but it turns out that he wasn't - he was just drugged by the woman who owned him and his parents/siblings so that he would seem that way. I know it's awful to have bought a puppy and several months later turn around and say 'it's not working out', I'm against doing that but this wonderful puppy is not getting the attention and training he needs. He's too high-energy for a senior citizen and my father doesn't know how to train a dog. I'm looking for a home that will appreciate his high energy and loveableness. Please let me know about yourself and lifestyle, I want to make sure he is going to the right home (age, lifestyle, other pets, etc). To avoid people who resell animals, we will be asking a rehoming fee. He will come with all his things and food etc. Please consider bringing this lovely pup into your life!
