We are a family owned funeral home looking for the right candidate to join our work team. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. We have 2 positions available within our company. Our company locations are, Desert Hot Springs and Rancho Mirage, Ca. Duties include but not limited to .Assisting families with planning funeral arrangements .Answering phones and taking detailed messages .Working files and making sure paperwork is complete and accurate .Ordering supplies such as urns, caskets, jewelry, headstones .Assisting with funeral and viewings .Scheduling services and arranging for clergy, cemetery, churches, etc. .Keeping work environments and vehicles clean and sanitary .Transporting deceased to or from from hospitals, residences, nursing homes, coroner's office, airports .Learning funeral law and applying it to every senerio pertaining to work .Possible assistance with embalming, dressing, cosemtizing and casketing deceased. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Embalmer. .Must have a clean and current CA driver's license .Be able to lift 100 lbs .Stand for long periods of time .No felonies or disqualify crimes/pass background check .Must be detailed and organized .Willing to learn all areas of funeral work .Must take direction well from other co-workers and be able to work as a team as well as independently .Learn and possibly perform cremations DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT A MATURE, RELIABLE PERSON WILLING TO WORK HARD AND TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR EMPLOYMENT.
