We have a small chicken egg operation (150 birds) that need a caretaker this winter (possibly beyond). In exchange for 2 hours/day of labor we offer an accommodation (Furnished, Heat, WiFi, Shower, kitchen included). All you need to pay for is your food and mobile phone. The accommodations are modest but totally adequate, 1 mile north of Middleton, appropriate for a single person or a couple. (couple = 2 x 2 hours/day). The daily duties include opening/closing coop, feeding, watering, egg gathering, some snow shoveling, taking out the trash, and various odd jobs. This is an ideal situation for the right person. You can hold a job in Madison while being here, but there are a few challenges, first the birds must be addressed every day at dawn and dusk, no exceptions. The 2 hours/day can be compiled and applied on the weekend. Please apply with a description of yourself, why you are a good fit for this position.
