one of these cute guinea pigs needs a new home

I have two male guinea pigs -- one older of unknown age -- and his son, who is turning one in January. One of these guys has got to go. They have been companionable since I got them (they were abandoned in my neighbor's year last February), a father and son pair, but over the last few months, as the younger one has reached maturity, they have started fighting, and I don't have enough room in my house for two full-size cages. I need to find a new home for one of them. The older one is called Papa Calico (he has a white stripe on his face) and the younger one is Duffy. They are both sweet, personable, curious, and have been held by children many, many, many times (I am a preschool teacher). I don't think either of them would mind being a lone pig, so long as he got lots of attention. Duffy has grown a bit since these pictures were taken this summer. Thanks for reading!
