Cooper is an awesome guy who is incredibly laid back around the house, super affectionate and gentle in the home. He is your typical Golden. About Cooper: Up to date with all shots and vaccines House trained Doesn't bark much Received extensive professional dog training from K-9 University this July and knows his commands He's a purebred red retriever AKC He's low energy but does need good walks and exercise regularly He's been raised in a loving home with the hustle and bustle of family life He loves kids He will be 2yrs old in February He past his puppy chewing phase He's fixed He comes with his crate, leashes, and food Why we're rehoming Cooper: We are too busy to give hime the consistent attention that he needs, which really isn't that much but we still don't have it. He has developed a bad habit of trying to bite the leash when out on walks. We are confident that this can be worked out with the assistance of a trainer, and consistent follow up with his new owner. He loves the trainer he worked with in Plano, and we're happy to give their info. We are willing to waive his modest adoption fee if the new owner puts the amount towards working with a professional dog trainer. References may be required.
