Golden Valley Property Management is hiring an On-Site Maintenance Handyman for $18-22 per hour plus healthcare & benefits at a 332-unit Condominium Association in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ.
Brief:
Daily grounds inspection/maintenance/clean up / hosing down sidewalks, catwalks, refilling propane, hosing off pool deck, empty trash cans in the common area; HVAC (air handlers) repairs, drywall repairs, some irrigation repairs, painting, digging, etc.
The Maintenance Handyman reports to the Maintenance Manager.
The Maintenance team maintains, repairs & services the facilities and common property
This can be a trainee position but basic knowledge of property maintenance is a plus and will result in higher starting pay.
Responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making repairs to all common property within the condominium complex.
Maintain a positive environment with other staff and assist in promoting a high-quality living experience for the residents.
Receive, review & prioritize daily work orders as part of the Maintenance Team.
Ensure the maintenance shops are neat and organized when work is completed at all locations.
Be available for emergencies after-hours & be a trained responder for those emergencies.
Implement, with approval, modifications & improvements to building systems with the Maintenance Manager
Notify the Maintenance Manager of all conditions that are unsafe or are areas of concern. Including recommendations for resolving the situation.
Position is Monday - Friday (some after hours emergency calls will be needed) paid holidays, benefits after 60 days. Full time position. Must pass Drug test and back-ground check.
