Bakery/Foodservice business in search of a full-time Packers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Work on the packing line with consistent speed and accuracy • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality • Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping • Operate slicing or wrapping machinery correctly and maintain it with care • Work in cold/freezer environment to pick orders. • Maintain daily productivity with little or no supervision required. • Maintain effective completion of daily work orders. Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced work environment. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. • High School diploma or equivalent • At least 18 years of age and 3 years prior experience in the food business is required. • Must have a reliable vehicle • Able to speak and understand Basic English language Preferred Qualifications: • Experienced with online ordering systems, UPS/FedEx shipping standards. Knowledge of how to operate taping and wrapping machines Work Environment: • Food Industry (hot or cold); subject to elevated noise levels. • Work irregular shifts or days, flexible schedule. Physical Requirements: Moderate physical activity, stooping, bending, kneeling. Handle objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
