Machrus is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the Cornwall, NY area. This position will be working Monday-Friday with full time hours. Great opportunity for the right motivated individual! In this position you will be performing general warehouse duties such as shipping, returns, packaging, loading & unloading trucks. We are currently hiring for permanent and temporary positions at this time. We are immediately hiring. The most qualified candidates will possess some or all the following skills to perform well in some of the listed positions: • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent • Above 18 years of age • Have general knowledge of hand tools • Ability to speak and read English • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace environment. • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively • Be flexible • Maintain clean and safe work environment: perform job safely • Hiring is contingent on passing a drug screening PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds independently • Requires standing for extended period of time on cement floors with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling. • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. • Requires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment. • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
