Chocolate Basics A History of Chocolate & Tasting
This class takes guests through the journey of chocolate, from its beginnings as a humble cocoa pod to gourmet truffles such as the ones we create at Glacier Chocolate. This class is broken up into two sessions.
The first session discusses the history of chocolate, manufacturing process, chocolate making, blends and single-origins, and flavor profiles. The second session discusses candies and confections, artisan chocolates, chocolate candy varieties, practical uses, and chocolate plated desserts.
