Scotch Whisky Tasting with Music By Lucid Druid Hello Friends! We are delighted to invite you to another fantastic Scotch Whisky Tasting. Us Scots are always looking for an excuse for a celebration and this time we will be honoring none other than Scotland's Patron Saint, St. Andrew. We liked him so much we even named our flag after him. (The St. Andrew's Cross).For this tasting, the music will be presented by local Celtic Rock Band, LUCID DRUID led by Grade One Piper, Adam Quinn.We will be sampling a selection of Scotland's finest Single Malt Scotches, and accompanying the tasting with some traditional Scottish Food.The Scottish American Society of Dunedin welcomes everyone. If you want to be there and prefer to drink beer or wine, we are re-introducing a ticket just for you. For those who prefer not to partake in alcohol, but love the atmosphere of these great nights, we offer a ticket to include all the soft drinks you can consume as well as the food and entertainment. Yes, there is something for everyone!Our Whisky Tastings are not JUST about the Whisky - they are about the people who attend, and we can't wait to welcome you once again to the Scottish Cultural Center. Slainte! All tickets include day membership to the Scottish American Society of Dunedin. The society was established in 1979 and since then we have been committed to supporting the Dunedin Middle and High School Pipe Bands, and City Highland Dancing programs, in order to help provide an educational path to pursue the love of the Scottish Arts. Many of our more than 200 members hail from the British Isles adding their knowledge of the customs and traditions we all enjoy.
