To celebrate National Career Development Month, Megan Evangelista will review some LinkedIn tips, tricks, and best practices! Happy National Career Development Month! Join us in the community room at the Millbury Public Library as we deep dive into LinkedIn best practices and tips and tricks with Meg, who has built a career in recruitment and career development. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be generously provided by Mykonos Cafe & Bakery in Millbury! Megan Evangelista is a motivated and passionate professional dedicated to helping college students early in their career. She has a strong background in university recruitment, program management, and professional development. A native New Englander, she attended Assumption College as an undergraduate and received her Master’s in Education from Suffolk University. Meg’s career launched in higher education and transitioned to leading Dell’s North America Summer Intern program. From there she moved to support early in career sales hiring, driving the recruiting strategy and execution of 175+ annual hires. Today, she serves as the team lead for Dell diversity recruiting, focusing on strategic initiatives and processes to drive an equitable and inclusive workplace. Outside of work, Meg enjoys travel, running, indoor cycling and learning to speak French, all fueled by plenty of iced coffee! COVID policy: Masks are not required for anyone vaccinated (though feel free to wear one if you're more comfortable that way); we ask that our unvaccinated friends continue to wear masks.
