Are you interested in a career in urban agriculture? Visit Our Website Huerta Urbana is an amazing educational program curated for people interested in agriculture, starting a farm/ ag business. This is a three-year program; every year participants will be taking more advanced courses than the previous year and graduate at the end of their third year. First year participants will be taking classes composing of: market farming courses, farm management, crop care and maintenance, Labor and Sales, Planning/ scheduling, and construction. Participants are the machine of the program, and because of this they will be spending a lot of time learning and managing our sites. Their hours spent learning, working on the farm, participating in the Farmers Market, and going to workshops will be compensated. The timeline for those who apply will go as follows; 1.
