Join us at Nest on Main for this knitting workshop, all levels welcome. Join our in-residence knitter Keri Puglisi, of Loops by Keri knitwear and co-owner of EmmaLoops Craft studio, to knit with friends or make new ones in our relaxed environment. You’ll learn to make a beautiful, one of a kind artistic knit shawl! If you know how to cast on and do the knit stitch, that is helpful, but if not, we’ll teach you! All levels of knitters are welcome- even new ones. Right and Left handed instruction available. Materials are not included in the price of this class. All supplies can be purchased at Nest on Main.You can bring your own needles/yarn/project OR you can purchase one of our kits if you prefer. Kits range in price from $35-$110 depending on yarn and what project is purchased. The Shawl kits have more yarn yardage and fancier yarns. If you are supplying your own materials bring: a pair of large needles (like a 13 or 15) A selection of yarns to work with- the beauty of this shawl is combining yarns with color and texture! Knitting kits are also for sale at Nest on Main with instructions for learning at home. Each attendee will receive a Nest store coupon exclusive to this event valued at 10% off one regular priced item up to $100 or 5% off one regular priced item to $1,000.
