Veterans Day program: RESCUE FROM THE SKY Part of the Rosalie Reynolds EXPLORE HISTORY! series presented to the community by Wells Fargo Private Bank 3pm Sunday November 7, 2021  In Person at the Duke Mansion and on Zoom Registration Required  In our annual program honoring Veterans, we’ll hear from Charlotte surgeon Dr. Lee Fanning, whose new book Rescue from the Sky tells true stories of the US Coast Guard’s Aviation Medical Rescue Service during the 1970s. Copies of Rescue from the Sky will be available for purchase.    We will offer limited seating at the Duke Mansion, masks will be required, social distancing will be observed, and we will use our highly effective HEPA filter air purifiers. Seating will be limited so we ask that you only reserve a seat at the Duke Mansion if you know you want to use it!
