Armored Cow Brewing Comedy Night - a Beerly Funny Production *Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.* Beerly Funny is thrilled to partner with Armored Cow Brewing Co. to bring our stand-up comedy show to the University area of Charlotte, NC! Join us for laughs on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person in advance or $20 the night of the show. Admission is 21+ OUR COMEDIANS: HEADLINER: DWIGHT SIMMONS Dwight Simmons hails from Indianapolis and has done stand-up in nearly every state in the country. He started telling jokes while in school at Indiana University and immediately fell in love with it. In 2018, his self-produced album "Sip and Pass" reached #1 on the iTunes comedy charts, making it his second release to do so. In that same year, he was listed as Indiana’s selection for Thrillist’s 50 Best Undiscovered Comics in the country. Dwight’s comedy has been featured on Kevin Hart’s LOL on Sirius XM and on the Bob and Tom show for which he is also a writer. He is a co-director of the prestigious Limestone Comedy Festival and the creator and host of the web-series BrewTube Comedy. FEATURE: DWAYNE DUKE Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dwayne Duke has honed his craft at venues across the nation. Dwayne's act is not a leap into debauchery, more a gentle nudge into the profane. He's been part of multiple comedy festivals including Cleveland Comedy, Broken Record, Burning Bridges, and Whiskey Bear. His second album "Shame Flashbacks" (2018) is available now. Dwayne is also the founder/ executive Producer of the Midwest Queer Comedy Festival. HOST + PRODUCER: LAUREN ANSLEY Based in Charlotte, NC, Lauren Ansley is a stand-up comedian, emcee/host, show producer, and founder of Lauren Ansley Presents and Beerly Funny. She has been a featured performer in several comedy festivals throughout the Carolinas, named one of the comedians to know by Charlotte Five and was featured in The Charlotte Observer.
