Japanese Spirits tasting and street food. This is a 21+ ONLY event. Hawker Street Market is presenting our second Izakaya Night in downtown Phoenix at Heritage Square. The term Izakaya means, “stay sake shop” in Japanese. The term is used for drinking and snacking taverns in Japan. They are places where people gather and share memories together over great food and ever flowing drinks. Hawker Street Market is transforming Heritage square into the popular Izakaya alleyways of Japan to bring together the local community over traditional Japanese drinking and snack foods. ALL tickets types includes tastings for Japanese spirits, including sakes, whiskies and cocktails. Ticket entry times are for 2 hour tastings: 5PM - 7PM and 7PM - 9PM. Attendees get full access to samples and a Japanese sake + spirits class from a local master.
