Description

Sweep Operator Required Qualifications: Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the street sweeper/assigned equipment. Responsible for pre and post trip inspections according to company guidelines and DOT requirements and law. Maintains and turns in monthly DOT logs. Maintains and turns in daily reports as required for completion of a route and service day. Responsible for cleanliness and appearance of assigned equipment. Responsible for maintaining personal appearance according to company guidelines. Communicate with customers and field superintendents and foreman to determine their sweeping requirements. Assists in planning sweeping routes to ensure efficient and effective sweeping. Recognizes machine wear and changes brooms and brushes as needed to perform sweeping services. Makes routine on site repairs to equipment as necessary. Abide by all traffic safety laws and speed limits. Performs other duties as needed.
