PEABODY, MA — Peabody City Council candidates will get the chance to share their views and contrast with each other during debates set for Wednesday at the Wiggin Auditorium at Peabody City Hall.
The at-large candidates and those in contested races in Wards 2, 3, 4 and 5 will debate starting at 7 p.m.
The debates are open to the public, but residents are reminded that masks must be worn inside municipal buildings.
Peabody TV will record these debates and air them — along with debates for Library Trustees candidates, School Committee candidates and Peabody Light Commission candidates — from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.
Check Peabody TV's Facebook page for links on when specific debates will be airing and available.
Residents narrowed the choices for the Nov. 2 general election during the Sept. 14 primary vote.
Early voting in the Peabody general election begins Saturday.
