Hasper & Co. owner & candle maker, Alex, will walk you through making the perfect soy candle using reusable and recycled materials. Sabrina, owner and founder of Zero to 180 Market, will be available to chat about the best way to reduce, reuse & recycle. Did you know that in 2018, Americans generated over 12 million tons of glass waste? And over 7 million tons of that made it into landfills. There are so many simple ways you can help reduce waste. Zero to 180 & Hasper & Co. have been partnered together since 2020 to help reduce the amount of candle jars in landfills with their Recycled Candle Program. What ‘s included: 1. Includes 1 - 16oz self- hand poured scented candle in a recycled jar. 2. The opportunity to pick your own scent & make the perfect gift (for yourself or a loved one) 3. Meet & greet with both Alex & Sabrina to ask any and all questions. 4. Receive 15% off Zero to 180 purchases made during this event. 5. BYOB is welcome and encouraged! Fine Print: 1. We will be handling melted wax during this event. Please wear clothing you don’t mind (maybe) getting a little wax on. 2. These candles will need some time to set. Please plan on picking up your finished candle the next day at Zero to 180 Market. 3. All recycled jars will be cleaned and disinfected prior to this event. All attendees will be able to choose a jar upon arrival. As these are recycled jars, no two will be alike but all are safe for candle making & burning. 4. Face masks will not be required during this workshop. However, please do not attend if you have a fever or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the store. 4. Zero to 180 has street parking is so please allow extra time in your travels to find a spot.
