Description
Hi,
We have a bunch of juvenile button quail to give away. Our hens got broody while we were out of town and produced a bunch of button quail chicks (the chicks are the actual cutest thing you will ever see.) Now are chicks are teenagers and it’s time to find them a new home!
Button Quail are the smallest species of quail. They are parakeet sized and make excellent pets. They reliably lay eggs, blessing you with an abundance of little quail eggs (a delicacy).
Because the birds are so small they are easily kept indoors in a small enclosure. A pair only needs a square foot of area. Additional birds can be kept in slightly larger enclosures. Many use guinea pig cages, aquariums, retro fitted storage furniture. Even large clear plastic bins can make a good home for these little birds.
Button quail are VERY EASY to keep. They are full of personality and character and they can become quite tame and fond of their people.
These little birds are great pets for kids and adults. It’s kind of reminiscent of keeping chickens but on a micro level.
Because of our abundance we are willing to give away 7-10 button quail for a small adoption fee ($20).
Serious inquiries please email ASAP.
Thank you!
