Please come help us break ground on our new Food Forrest site and plant a variety of fruit bearing and native trees! CCI is establishing a new Food Forrest inspired site on a lot that is very close to our current two sites on East 23rd Street. We are excited to get started on this project and will be planting 45 fruit bearing and native trees including pawpaw, persimmon, serviceberry, apple, pear, and more. We will have tools, but you are more than welcome to bring your own gloves, spade, or shovel if you have them! Please email us with any questions. Conscious Connections Inc. is a nonprofit that provides educational programming and operates an urban farm located in Wilmington, Delaware. We are passionate about serving our community with increased opportunities for learning and access to fresh food. Through our community outreach efforts, a safe place for youth has been created where we nurture creativity, ingenuity, and self empowerment.
