Press release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office: October 22, 2021 Tomorrow (10/23/21) we will be participating in the DEA's Drug Take Back Day. A Deputy Sheriff will be at our detachments from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. accepting unused prescription medications. If someone is unable to make it during those hours tomorrow and have excess medicines that need disposed, we also have a Drug Drop Box (pictured) at our Charleston office across from the Kanawha County Courthouse that is available during business hours each week.
