The Christian Science Reading Room in South Arlington is more than a religious bookstore. It has been a community resource center for several decades for those seeking answers to questions about Christian Science, its relation to Christianity and the Bible, and where to meet others in the greater DC area pursuing these interests and worshipping together. The Reading Room is conveniently located on the ground floor of a commercial building, one block north of Columbia Pike at 921 S Walter Reed Drive, and is served by Metrobus routes 10B, 16, and ART bus route 77. It offers a well-stocked sales area with an attendant on duty to answer questions or to take special orders, along with a quiet room for study and reflection. The hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10-2 pm. Please call ahead at 703-920-4877 when visiting or if you'd prefer information over the phone. Spanish-language Bibles, the Christian Science textbook, and other publications on Christian Science for adults and children are available, along with publications in German, Russian, French, and other languages.
