Move over Halloween and Thanksgiving, Hallmark will debut 41 new holiday movies starting on Friday, Oct. 22. The Hallmark Channel launches its 30 "Countdown to Christmas" originals and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will air nine new films in its "Miracles of Christmas" lineup. New movies will air every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel, while new movies will debut every Saturday at 10 p.m. ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. It's all part of Hallmark Channel's 12th annual Countdown to Christmas with around-the-clock holiday programming. Hallmark begins its around-the-clock Christmas schedule on Oct. 22. Fans of the channels will see favorites including Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Danica McKellar, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Holly Robinson Peete, Jordin Sparks and Brennan Elliott. For the first time, Hallmark Movies Now — the company's standalone streaming service — is premiering two original movies during its "Movies & Mistletoe" event. The network's plans include its first "Merry Thanksgiving Weekend," with double-feature original movie premieres each night at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET/PT, Friday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 28. Topping off the weekend's movies are fan favorite Lacey Chabert in her 11th Christmas movie for the network, with a holiday in Ireland in "Christmas at Castle Hart," which premieres Saturday, Nov. 27, and also stars Stuart Townsend. On Sunday, Nov. 28, Candace Cameron Bure competes for a good cause with John Brotherton in "The Christmas Contest."
