Press release from Vernon Hills Park District: October 21, 2021 Lake County Public Works is starting the process of identifying necessary repairs to the sanitary system for the Village of Vernon Hills. There are two areas that excavation will occur in Deerpath Park near Kids' Castle playground. To ensure safety, the paths, restroom, and playground may be closed from Monday, November 1 through Thursday, November 4. Please be cautious in this area.
