UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA — Want to share your opinion on the future of the Morton Field Complex? The opportunity exists at a meeting to be held Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Boyce Mayview Community & Recreation Center. The township is developing a master site plan with Pashek + MTR, a Pittsburgh landscape architecture and community planning studio, to discuss enhancing the complex's appearance, image and facilities. More than 1,100 people completed a digital survey this summer. The top recommendations for the complex: Develop walking and biking trails that connect to parks and neighborhoods.Provide more shade.Develop additional passive recreation opportunities.Converting grass fields to synthetic turf.
