FBI Says Person Died During Northeast Portland Standoff Thursday

PORTLAND, OR — The FBI showed up at a home on Northeast Ainsworth St. by 14th Ave. on Thursday morning. They were ready to serve a search warrant and had Portland Police there to assist. After a standoff, FBI agents and police officers made their way in and found the person dead. A HazMat team assisted because of the presence of suspicious substances. The name of the person who died has not been released. The FBI says that no agent or officer used force.
